Seth vs Horus – Rewritten Review

In the heart of the unforgiving Egyptian desert, a legendary battle is brewing. The scorching sun beats down as you stand at the crossroads of a monumental decision – will you side with Seth, the god of chaos and darkness, to claim the throne? Or will you rally behind Horus, the god of justice and the rightful heir? The weight of the gods’ fate rests in your hands, and the rewards of choosing wisely are vast. Choose wrong, and the land will be cursed for eternity, leaving you with nothing but regret.

The reels are adorned with silver and gold symbols, representing the two rival gods – Seth and Horus. Beautifully colored stones act as the higher-paying symbols, with Wild and Scatter symbols appearing to aid you in your journey to power.

Played on a 7x7 grid, the base game rewards you with cluster wins, where five or more matching symbols (or Wilds) must be adjacent either vertically or horizontally. After each win, the symbols in the winning cluster vanish, triggering a cascade of new symbols in the same spin.

The battle between Seth and Horus is the central feature, involving two groups of minor symbols, each tied to one of the gods and distinguished by color – silver for Seth, gold for Horus. The battle begins when a winning cluster of symbols from one god’s color is formed. Once the win is paid, all symbols of that color are removed from the grid, and new ones fall in. If a second cluster of the same color is formed, it triggers another cascade, removing those symbols from the game as well. From here on, only the major symbols and the opponent’s minor symbols remain on the reels.

If no symbols from the rival god win, the winning god’s special feature activates:

• Seth's Feature: One of Horus' minor symbols is randomly selected and transforms into one of Seth's lowest-paying symbols. These symbols then expand both vertically and horizontally across the reels.
• Horus' Feature: A random major symbol is chosen, and it expands once to cover more space on the reels. If there’s room, it can expand a second time, further increasing your chances of forming winning combinations.

Collect three Scatter gems, and you’ll unlock the Bonus Game, awarding you 8 Free Spins. After each spin, five random symbols on the reels will be highlighted. If these highlighted symbols form part of a winning combination, that win is boosted with a x2 multiplier. Once the combination pays out, the winning symbols are removed, allowing for another cascade of potential wins.
